Position
Ried Eichberg The grapes for this wine come from one of the best locations on our estate. Particularly important are the ideal microclimatic conditions with influences from the Traisental and Danube region as well as a suitable deep, heavy soil.
Cellar technology
Selection of the best-positioned, highly ripe grapes, destemmed, crushed, followed by maceration with punching down and flooding, malolactic fermentation, and aged for 12 months in barriques.
Food/drink recommendation
An ideal wine for heavy roasted poultry and numerous game dishes. It pairs perfectly with steaks, beef fillets, and game pâtés. A welcome partner for hard cheeses such as Bergkäse and Parmesan.
Serve at 16-18°C.
