Riesling Parapluiberg 2024
Position
Parapluiberg, Wagram ob der Traisen. Southeast-facing slopes with loess in the topsoil and conglomerate in the subsoil produce typical varietals with fine minerality. The vineyard's name derives from the copper umbrella on the vineyard.
Cellar technology
Harvested, destemmed, crushed, short maceration, gentle pressing in a pneumatic press, temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks. Then, matured in stainless steel tanks.
Food/drink recommendation
It pairs well with fried or grilled fish, fish risotto, and many cold fish appetizers, as well as delicate smoked salmon or light vegetables.
